Start your Sunday with sparkle, sass, and a dash of champagne! Join us for Burlesque 101, an immersive workshop where you’ll sip, stretch, shimmy, and shine. This is a beginner-friendly class. No dance experience necessary. Your ticket includes: A complimentary sparkling orange juice Fresh fruit to snack on A pair of gloves to keep for your routine This 2.5-hour workshop begins with a brief history of burlesque, followed by a warm-up and stretch to get you moving. You’ll learn the essential building blocks of burlesque, from classic walks and bumps to the iconic glove peel. By the end, you’ll bring it all together in a playful, choreographed routine you can take home with you. Your guide for the morning is Vivian Brass, “The Daring Darling” — a pinup extraordinaire, travelling showgirl, and seasoned burlesque teacher. Vivian has graced stages across North America, from Montreal’s legendary Wiggle Room to the Colorado, Vancouver, and Ohio Burlesque Festivals, and was a featured performer at the 2025 Queen City Burlesque Expo. With her mix of drama, charm, and effervescent energy, she’s taught workshops nationwide, inspiring students to find confidence and joy through the art of the tease. Whether you’re brand new to burlesque or looking to spice up your moves, this workshop is the perfect way to dip your toes and twirl your gloves into the glittering world of burlesque. What to Wear Comfortable clothes you can move in, jogging pants, leggings, booty shorts, a tank, a tee, a sports bra, all work beautifully. Complimentary gloves provided at the workshop (we’ll be peeling them off with flair) This is a body-positive, judgment-free environment where every body is celebrated and valued. Wear what makes you feel confident, playful, and fabulous. The workshop will be done in socks or barefoot. Don't forget to bring a water bottle.
