The HeartSpeak Collective is a group of passionate creatives and business owners who use their talents, gifts and skills to inspire, ignite and mentor others to share stories from the heart through up-cycling, customising and embellishing bespoke pieces. From clothing, bags and jewellery to cushions, tea towels and more, we then auction pieces on powerful online platform BuddyBid, created by New Zealanders Neil Campbell & Tim Poltavtsev, to raise funds for a variety of creative, art-therapy programmes for incarcerated, at-risk and vulnerable youth.
The HeartSpeak Collective proudly supports Bridge The Gap Project, a charitable trust that helps youth help themselves. We also help other charities based anywhere in the world by creating pieces with stories specifically tailored to the charities we partner with. So we’re also a unique fundraising initiative that raises awareness while raising funds.
The brainchild of Amanda Betts, The HeartSpeak Collective was born in collaboration with business partner, friend and Bridge The Gap Project co-creator, Ryan Meta.
The Heartspeak Collective consists of creatives who offer and share a variety of gifts, talents & skills including artists, painters, graphic designers, knitters, seamstresses, pattern makers, marketers, branders, photographers and videographers.
We’ve created a unique fundraising initiative for charities and projects through creating bespoke pieces made by people from all walks of life. When you buy from us, you’re buying something full of heart, a story. And you’re enabling the legacy to continue.
Our online auction platform, BuddyBid, created by Kiwis Neil Campbell & Tim Poltavtsev, connects/enables people from anywhere in the world to get actively involved in expanding the reach of the work. We call our supporters 'HeartSpeak Enablers’.
We offer a variety of creative, art therapy & skill-expanding workshops to ignite people of all ages and walks of life to express themselves, tap into & expand upon their potential & how to create/ capitalise on opportunities using our networks.
Our bespoke pieces tell real-life, heartfelt stories. As Marni Gallard said, 'We need to look hard at the stories we create, wrestle with them. Retell & retell them, work with them like clay. It is in the retelling & returning where they give us their wisdom.'
We proudly support Bridge The Gap Project Charitable Trust, a charity co-created by Amanda Betts & Ryan Meta that helps youth help themselves with a focus on incarcerated, at-risk & vulnerable youth. We also create tailored bespoke pieces for charities.
